52 reasons why I love you!!!!

Me and my best friend Sarah did a craft together for our husbands. We saw it on Pinterest. But we added our own personalities to it (that is why i love scrap booking). this is what we did... We took a deck of cards and scrap booked them so they were all different and then we typed and printed out our 52 different reasons why we loved them and cut them out and pasted them on. Then we hole punched them in the corners so we could put a ring in it to keep it together. Here is some pictures of the finished project. And i will even show you some of the pages. I am really happy how it turned out!!!

I tried really hard not to make them girlie. This is probably the girliest i made them.

Today we had to bring Zoe to the laboratory at the hospital to get the stool and a blood tested for Iron and for lead poisoning. Zoe did great!!! There was two nurses. One to help me hold her down and one to draw the blood. I had Zoe on my lap and she let them put the rubber band on her arm fine and when they put the needle in she didn't even flinch. The nurse had to fish around for a vein. I understand that she has small veins. But i was almost in tears because she was fishing around for a minute and i wanted to tell the nurse just take it out. But she founds a vein and right before she actually found it Zoe burst into tears. I felt so bad for her I know fishing around for the vein hurts worse but once she found the vein she stopped crying. So Zoe maybe cried for 15 seconds. The nurses face was red and said she wanted cry she felt so bad for her. Zoe did so great mommy and daddy bought her some french fries from Mc Donald's and that seemed to make it all better....

Enjoying the nice day!!!

Today was so nice!!! So When Alex came home we spent a lot of time outside. Alex cut some wood while i made dinner and then after dinner I laid a blanket on the ground and let Zoe crawl all over and she loved it. She wasn't sure about the grass at first but then once i put her on the grass she was fine. We went for a walk too. It was cut a little short because it looked like it wanted to rain. And it did rain. Here are some pictures of Zoe enjoying the nice day!!!

But then quickly realized what she did!!! And went right on the blanket again.

Trouble Makers

So I planned on having a mommy and Zoe day outside the house because Alex had to work. But I wanted Zoe to get at least one good nap in today. So i laid her down for her morning nap and Alex called me and said that he was on his way home from work. I was really excited because what is better then a mommy and Zoe???.... A family is!!! But when Alex got home from work Zoe was napping still so he wanted to do a oil change on my car (Thanks Sweetie!!!) While i was getting ready to go. But before Alex got done Zoe woke up so she was playing on the floor while i finished up getting ready and as Alex jumped in  the shower. When Alex was done getting ready he said that he would put Zoe in the car while i finished packing up Zoe's diaper bag. it wasn't long till i heard the car horn going off. And i peeked my head out and found this.......

Zoe's 12 month checkup...

Zoe had the puke bug Wednesday night through Thursday early morning so I called the pediatricans office this morning to see if they will still give her shots. And they said to bring her in and that it will be up to the doctor. So i brought her and Zoe got weighed and she is 16lb and 4oz and her height was 25 an a quarter inches.

She shrunk!!!   We have to go back in a month for a weight check and her shots. The doctor said that she has always been tiny but she is a little worried (and so am I) that she shrunk and that she isn't gaining weight very much. She has been sick so much this year and we haven't gotten done a quarter of the year done with. She has had Roseola, Bronchitis, a double ear infection, another ear infection, and the puke bug twice. So we are hoping that the reason why she isn't gaining weight very well is because she has been so sick. And the doctor also wants me to bring in a stool sample because she has has so much diarrhea too. Please pray that she gains enough weight and height in the next month so she wont have to go through any testing. Me and Alex have been concerned how tiny she is but now we are REALLY concerned. We know God is in control and he is with us and will take care of our Zoe.

Do you ever stop and think about your life??? And think about the special people in it??? I live 3 hours away from my family. And it would be even more hard for me being away from my family if i didnt have Sarah. She is like a sister to me. I know i can count on her for anything. She loves Zoe so much. And that means a lot to me. I want to put people in Zoe's life that i want her to look up to and Sarah is just that!!! Zoe loves Sarah just as much as I do. She lights up when she sees her and wants Aunt Sarah to hold her. Zoe even gets jealous when Aunt Sarah is holding another child. Sarah is a very special person that wants to do what is right and do God's will. She always has a smile on her face and wants to help others. God is using her in so many ways and she probably dosent even know how many times she has been a encouragment to me. Thanks Sarah for being my best friend. I love ya!!!

Only because I can laugh at myself...

Yesterday Zoe woke up from sleeping and she was soaked with pee. So all I had was in my mind was to get her in the bath tub. So I stipped her down and filled her bath tub with water and put her in. And as I was washing her I noticed I forgot to take her socks off. Only because I can laugh at myself I am posting pictures.... Enjoy!!!!
